Set of 4 miniature bottles of Ramos Pinto Port Wine, in a wooden box, to enjoy as an aperitif or digestif.
In 1880, Adriano Ramos Pinto, a 21-year-old artist from Porto, decided to establish a Port wine company. In 1896, his brother António, a photographer, joined the business, and their artistic spirit led them to invest in a bold advertising image of unusual quality, a heritage that no other Port wine brand can compete with.
On the 360 hectares they own in the Douro region (the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, established in 1756 by the Marquis of Pombal), Ramos Pinto continues to produce the grapes for their own wines: White Port, Ruby, and Tawny.
Their intact cellars and offices from the 1930s justify a visit to the quay of Vila Nova de Gaia, which is precisely called Avenida Ramos Pinto, paying homage to these wine artists.
